Andrea Cardenas was born and raised in San Diego, CA. In 2013, she graduated from the University of California, Riverside, where she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy. Ms. Cardenas has specialized experience in organizational management and development, public policy, government affairs, and community engagement.
Prior to her work with Innovation Management Group, Ms. Cardenas worked as Community Relations Liason for the 36th Mayor of the City of San Diego, Kevin L. Faulconer. During her time with Mayor Faulconer, she represented some of San Diego’s most underserved communities and worked closely with the Office of Binational Affairs for the City of San Diego.
Ms. Cardenas also served as an Administrative and Financial Analyst for Neighborhood Market Association and as a Junior Consultant at Grassroots Resources.
Andrea Cardenas currently serves as a Consultant for Innovation Management Group where she oversees the management of several non-profit and trade organizations and as the Director for Community Engagement for Grassroots Resources.
